1956 Chevrolet Nomad

Chevrolet Nomad. 1956.   No expense spared Older restoration - 1990's. Proven long term Driver.  Rebuilt 350 with complete engine detailing with Chrome show parts. 700r4 Automatic - rebuilt to new specs.  Coil over suspension conversion featuring tubular A arms.  Rack and pinion steering conversion with tilt wheel.  Disc brakes with dual dual reservoir master cylinder.  All the right options added to make this a true complete restomod.  Vintage Air AC.
All paint and upholstery were renewed at the time of restoration and have been well preserved.  THERE ARE FLAWS IN THE PAINT FROM REGULR USE OVER TIME, but still very presentable.  Interior is near perfect.  Chrome is all original  and shows well with the expected patina.  There is some surface rust on the lift gate.  Car was always in a dry climate, no evidence of rust and kept inside since its restoration.
This car was a proven driver and touring car - it may require some maintenance and adjustments, but this is not a random restoration with odd parts.  It is ready for for the road with fluid changes and a detail.
I have helped this family with all the cars in their estate and this one was one of the late owners favorites.  He was fearless about spending the money necessary to make it look great and run great.  The Nomad is coming out of long term storage, but has been recently driven and inspected by the families long term mechanic.  Car is stored in secure indoor storage in California Central Valley
